The Recreation Center includes 4, 25-yd lap lanes, a vortex pool, a drop slide, hydro-therapy jets and benches, and a 20-person spa/hot tub. The facility also includes a climbing wall, and a full basketball court, along with the full complement of equipment.

This Recreation Center is the first public building in Southern Colorado to earn Gold certification status from the U.S. Green Building Council. The center includes innovative features such as solar thermal panels, insulated concrete form walls, and low-maintenance landscaping.
